Summary

Company Inventory is an offline-first warehouse asset tracker. The app does not collect, transmit, store on remote servers, or share any personal data. All inventory data lives only on your iPhone or iPad, inside the app's private sandbox.

Data stored on your device

The app stores the following on your device only — never sent off-device:

You can delete all of this at any time by deleting the app.

Permissions the app requests

PermissionWhy
Camera To scan barcodes and QR codes on devices and accessories. Frames are processed on-device by Apple's Vision framework and discarded immediately after detection. No video or photos are stored or transmitted.
Photo Library Only when you tap "Pick Photo" to extract a barcode from an existing image. The image is read on-device, scanned, and discarded. No photos are stored or transmitted.

You can revoke either permission anytime in iOS Settings → Company Inventory.

Network access

The app may make a single outbound HTTPS request to https://www.dell.com/support/home/... to look up the model name for a Dell service tag you scanned. Only the service tag is sent. No identifiers, account information, location, or analytics data are transmitted. The app works fully offline; the lookup simply returns no result.

Data sharing

The app contains:

When you tap Export or Share Label PDF, the file is created locally and handed to iOS's standard share sheet. What happens after that depends on the destination you choose (AirDrop, email, printer, Files app, etc.) and is governed by that destination's privacy policy.

Crash reports

If the system reports a crash via Apple's MetricKit, a short summary (signal name and termination reason — no inventory data) is stored locally and visible in Settings → Diagnostics. Apple may also automatically forward crash reports to App Store Connect under your iOS device's standard Apple privacy settings.

Children

The app is not directed at children. It collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this same URL with an updated "Last Updated" date.
